Register your kidz today for a week of learning fun for rising 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders for June 8-12 from 9-4 pm. The reading readiness summer camp will focus on:
- Strengthen decoding skills using grade-level phonics patterns and strategies
- Build reading fluency through guided practice to improve accuracy, speed, and expression
- Improve comprehension by practicing retelling, answering questions, and thinking deeply about text
- Increase reading confidence and stamina in a supportive small-group environment
- Develop independent reading strategies students can use during the school year
Each child will need to bring their water bottle, lunch and a snack each day.
About the teacher:
Danielle Pritchett is a certified early childhood educator with over 12 years of experience teaching Pre-K through 2nd grade, with a strong focus on early literacy and foundational skill development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Memphis and a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Early Childhood fro Southeast Missouri State University. Danielle specializes in helping young learners strengthen phonics, reading fluency, handwriting, and school readiness skills while building confidence and independence in a supportive learning environment.To register for the week, please click book now and just click on the Monday. It will automatically sign you up for the whole week. Due to the lesson plan and limited spots and high demand, we are unable to offer the class by days.
